Guru Kirpa Bakers (trading as GK Bakers Cafe), Dhariwal-143519, Punjab (“Company”, “GK Bakers Cafe”, “we”, “our” or “us”) owns and operates this website and undertakes all services offered herein. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and all online orders and interactions made through it. By accessing, browsing or using the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using this website.
1. General
1.1 All products and services displayed on this website are subject to availability.
1.2 GK Bakers Cafe reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or change any information at its sole discretion.
1.3 All visitors and customers are advised to read these Terms carefully before placing their orders.
2. Products & Images
2.1 All images shown are for illustrative purposes only. Actual items may vary in appearance depending on finishing, decoration, seasonal stock, and packaging.
2.2 We reserve the right to vary the size, flavour, design or decoration of cakes and bakery products without prior notice where such variations do not materially affect quality.
3. Pricing
3.1 Prices displayed are inclusive of standard packaging and applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Price displayed at the time of placing an order shall be the price charged, unless there is an obvious error.
4. Orders
4.1 An order is considered confirmed only after full payment (for online orders) and our express acceptance.
4.2 We reserve the right to cancel any order due to product unavailability, operational issues, incorrect information provided or any reason whatsoever.
4.3 Once an order is confirmed, changes to order content, delivery time, address or customization will only be at the Company’s discretion and may attract additional charges.
5. Online Table Reservations
5.1 Table reservations made through our website or WhatsApp are subject to availability and confirmation by GK Bakers Cafe.
5.2 Reservations will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes from the scheduled time, after which the table may be released without notice.
5.3 GK Bakers Cafe reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations due to operational reasons, private events, or unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be informed using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
6. Custom Cakes & Bulk Orders
6.1 All customised birthday cakes, wedding cakes and bulk corporate orders require advance booking.
6.2 A minimum lead time of 48–72 hours is usually required. Orders are subject to availability and production capacity.
6.3 Design references will be followed as closely as possible. Exact replication of images and colours is not guaranteed.
7. Delivery & Pick-Up Policy
7.1 Deliveries are subject to availability of delivery partners and confirmed only within prescribed delivery zones.
7.2 Delivery is available outside Dhariwal subject to additional delivery charges.
7.3 Estimated delivery time is only indicative. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, third-party logistics or unforeseen circumstances.
7.4 For in-store pickup: orders must be collected at the chosen time. Items not collected within 2 hours may be disposed of without refund.
7.5 Title and risk in the products pass to the customer upon dispatch from our premises.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
8.1 Cancellation requests will only be considered if made at least 6 hours prior to dispatch time. For customised cakes, order value is non-refundable once preparation has commenced.
8.2 Fresh food items once delivered or picked up are non-returnable and non-refundable except in cases of:
• Wrong product delivered
• Spoiled product
• Damaged item (with photo proof)
8.3 Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
9. Allergens & Consumer Responsibility
9.1 Our products may contain traces of wheat, gluten, milk, nuts, soya, and other allergens. Customers with allergies must enquire prior to ordering.
9.2 The Company will not be held responsible for allergic reactions or health issues arising from product consumption.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All text, graphics, logos, photos, recipes, designs and other content appearing on this website remain the sole property of GK Bakers Cafe.
10.2 No user or third-party is permitted to reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, or otherwise exploit any content without our written consent.
11. User Conduct & Website Usage
11.1 You shall not misuse this website or attempt to hack, modify or disrupt its operation.
11.2 You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information while placing orders and to maintain confidentiality of login details.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, GK Bakers Cafe shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages or losses incurred in connection with use of this website or our products/services.
12.2 In any case, our entire liability towards any customer shall not exceed the value of the order placed by such customer.
13. Amendments
13.1 We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time without notice.
13.2 Updated Terms shall become effective immediately upon posting on this website. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of such revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Gurdaspur, Punjab.
